I can't believe it is the middle of September already. This past Wednesday we celebrated my Mom's birthday. The boys and I had lunch with her and my Dad since Mat had a class that day and evening for work. We had cake and ice cream too, one of the boys' favorite food groups. Overall we had an enjoyable afternoon together.
The middle of September is bringing the cooler mornings and evenings. I love this weather and Fall is my favorite season. We are going to the apple orchard next weekend to get all of those delicious apples for my famous apple crisp. Yummy!!! Then early next month we will head to the pumpkin patch with the boys to pick their pumpkins. They love to go every year up to McCall's. They have the corn maze, hayride, and lots of other activities for them to do. It is a fun, family tradition.
Well, September is flying by but it brings about the nice fall days. So that is okay. We are all sad to see summer go but happy for the cooler weather.
