Forgetful

Yep, I am becoming very forgetful lately. Maybe it is my schedule is just to full or maybe I am just getting older and it comes with age. I had to work today and scheduled this job for a Monday, which we never do. I also am supposed to volunteer on Mondays. So of course I forgot about my volunteering in Preston's classroom and didn't remember until Preston got in the car after school and told me. Mommy you forgot to come to my class. I told him how sorry I was. He told me that's ok Mommy. We all forget stuff sometimes. I asked him what he told his teacher and he told me he told her I had to work. I felt better knowing that he knew I just didn't blow him off. I love to volunteer and would have much rather done that than worked. So I am glad that Preston is big enough to know that Mommy doesn't just forget about her kids. Next Monday it will be locked down in my brain, well hopefully at least. :0) I guess we all make mistakes.
