Back to Reality

Well, Christmas break is over and another year has begun. I cannot believe that we are inching closer to the end of another school year too. Wow!! Time is sure flying by and I cannot believe I am going to be the Mom of a middle schooler in the fall. Is it even possible? I remember my little baby boy coming home from the hospital and us starting our lives together as a family. Now he is getting older, more hormonal (another name for moody), and heading off to middle school in the fall. We had such a great talk tonight. I just sat on his bed and he spilled everything out to me. I love it that he still talks to me. He is such an amazing little boy, I mean big boy. He is helpful, does good in school, has lots of friends and is just a great all around kid. I am proud to be his Mom.
