Christmas!!

Wow, August was my last post. I really need to get it together to keep this updated. I cannot believe another year is coming to a close and 2012 is on its way. Hopefully this year will bring lots of happiness and good health our way.

In November I had surgery to remove an ovarian tumor. It was benign and I praise God every day for that. It went well and I got the month of November to recover. It was nice to be home but the recovery took a little longer than normal. It wasn't as easy as the dr had told me it would be, that's for sure.

Christmas has come and gone and boy did we have a great one. We were very blessed this year. My parents came on Christmas Eve for our yearly gift exchange. The boys have nicknamed them Papa and Mamaw Clause. They were very spoiled this year. I will admit that Mat and I were equally spoiled. I got a groovy new laptop and now I don't have to tape my plug together anymore. Pretty nice. Mat got a new tool box for the garage. He loved it and the best part he said was it locks so no more tools getting taken outside by the boys. He is very excited about that.

On Christmas I hosted dinner for my parents and Mat's family. The boys were once again equally spoiled. I got a karaoke machine and let me tell you that everyone enjoyed it. I didn't get to let loose since I was a little under the weather and lost my voice. Don't worry though, I will be getting lots of use out of it.

So we are moving onto 2012. I hope it starts lots of new beginnings for all of us.
